EUCA Annex
A sequential curatorial programme of overlapping duo exhibitions across 2026.
EUCA Annex is a site for contemporary art production and cross-disciplinary research — a platform to foster dialogues between emerging and established artists. Recently moved from a purpose-built space to a new home in Britannia Row, in partnership with The Florence Trust. The Duo Show series invites a creative dialogue between pairs of artists, an evolving process of overlapping exhibitions transforming EUCA Annex's Britannia Row space through 2026.

Artists' talk — 13 June, 2pm
Elliot Jeffries (Chelsea; Royal Academy Schools) uses found technologies, objects and sculptural techniques to build installations dealing with a contemporary foreboding. John Timberlake (Whitney; Goldsmiths) works with painting, photography and drawing — landscape as a construct of time as much as space. Held in the Imperial War Museum, Royal London Hospital NHS Trust and West Collection, PA.

Duo Show 2 — Frederike Schweizer & Kate Squires
Artists' talk — 27 July, 4pm
Frederike Schweizer (Vienna) makes textile-based works that hold system and gesture at once — stitching by hand, slowing the line at the threshold where system turns into touch. Kate Squires (London) works in sculpture with performance, digital media and collaborative settings; ambiguous objects communicate use and consumerism, laying slippages bare within visual and language systems.

Artists' talk — 8 August, 4pm
Tommy Støckel (Berlin) reworks everyday objects, spaces and found digital material into site-specific installations, sculptures, photographs, typefaces and emojis. Shown at Frankfurter Kunstverein, Nikolaj Kunsthal, CAPC Bordeaux and the Gwangju Biennale. Paul McDevitt (Berlin) works across painting, drawing, sculpture, video and performance — runs Farbvision and co-founded Infinite Greyscale.

Artists' talk — 5 September, 4pm
Ocean Baulcombe-Toppin (London) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice centres slow praxis — connectivity, temporality and memory through a lens of Afro-Caribbean diasporic identity. Élise Legal (Paris) combines found images, drawing and poetry, attentive to the way language and bodies coexist; recent residencies at Fondation Pernod Ricard and Université Paris 8.

A space for those working at the intersection of fine art and literature.
The Writers' Room — a branch of independent publishing house The Wild Pansy Press (Leeds & London) — is a site for those working at the intersection of fine art and literature: art writing, memoir, auto-fiction, science fiction, fan-fiction, zine culture, sound art, broadcasting and the spoken word. A working studio reimagined as a site for publication launches, performances, screenings and symposia. All events run at the space 6–8pm — follow @wpp_writersroom on Instagram for confirmed details.

'Look How Brightly' transforms composer Alex Mills' debut album into an interdisciplinary exhibition, reimagining the album launch as a site of encounter, contemplation and intimate exchange between contemporary music and art. The exhibition brings together work by 21 international artists that unpack the emotional and conceptual world of Mills' album — a retrospective spanning the last decade of the composer's output.

"The Soothsayer's Chorus"
The exhibition reclaims Cassandra — the prophetess of Troy cursed to speak truth without being believed — as a collective, polyphonic figure. Rather than a lone voice doomed to isolation, Cassandra becomes many women speaking at once, across mediums. Prophecy is reimagined as inheritance — something passed from generation to generation. The exhibition focuses on female artists who explore intuition, collective ancestral memory and speculative futures.
